In April 2021, we launched our digital needs test with the goal of providing customers with a simple and effective platform to identify the food supplements that best match their individual needs. The background to this initiative was a clear increase in customer service enquiries about this very topic – many were unsure which food supplements were right for them and therefore risked buying products they didn't need.
For Great Earth, sustainability is a central aspect of everything we do. We see the needs analysis as an important tool for promoting conscious dietary choices and minimising unnecessary consumption. Only taking what you need has both economic and environmental benefits. You save money by avoiding paying for products you won't benefit from, while also contributing to more resource-efficient production.
Less Guesswork - Better Precision
In 2025, we relaunched our needs test with even greater precision. Using AI trained on all our educational material—developed by our product and quality expert, Rebecca—along with general health advice and EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) guidelines, we can provide a highly accurate product recommendation.
A digital needs test is not just a practical solution for the individual; it also promotes greater inclusivity. By offering an easily accessible platform, Great Earth can reach a wider audience and give more people the opportunity to make conscious choices for better health.
We see the needs test as a vital part of our sustainability efforts and are proud to offer a solution that benefits both the individual and the environment.
To date (February 2026), over 470,000 customers have taken the test and received a tailored recommendation on how they can support their health.
