Our commitment to being best in class

Being a product company that works with food supplements and health in general comes with its challenges. Vitamins and minerals can be produced in many ways, and when it comes to production, choice of raw materials, shipping, logistics, and safety, there are many decisions to be made. We constantly strive to be at the forefront and to make the choices that feel right to us.

We set high standards for our suppliers

We are meticulous about our own quality and safety, and we hold our suppliers to the same rigorous standards. That's why we work exclusively with suppliers who follow Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
GMP is a comprehensive set of regulations that governs the manufacturing and packaging of food, health products, and pharmaceuticals. This quality standard includes rules on the training and responsibilities of production staff. When products are manufactured to GMP standards, every single batch must be analysed by a specially qualified person. If any errors occur during production, they must also be investigated according to a specific system called Corrective and Preventive Action.

We follow international regulations and are certified

For products to be approved for international sale and consumption, they must comply with the quality regulations of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). All our production partners adhere to these local quality regulations, which are equivalent to the international quality standard ISO 13485.

We are strong advocates for certifications and are certified according to CFSC. The only downside is their rather dull acronyms, which never look great in writing. There's not much to be done about that, so let us introduce CFSC, which stands for Certified for Self-Care. This is a system developed by the independent trade organisation Svensk Egenvård (Swedish Self-Care). CFSC is the only uniquely adapted certification in Sweden for producers and suppliers of food supplements, sports nutrition, and weight management products. To obtain the certification, the company is thoroughly audited by an independent third party. This third party reviews compliance with industry guidelines, regulatory requirements, and a long list of recognised food standards. Examples of these guidelines include ISO 22000, ISO 9001, BRC (Global Standard for Food Safety), and the International Food Standard (IFS). A further advantage of CFSC is that it is a time-limited certification. Certified companies are audited annually, and a renewal of the certificate is required every three years.

We work according to HACCP

When it comes to quality, we believe in a 'belt and braces' approach. You can simply never be too careful. That's why we work according to HACCP, a system developed by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO). The acronym stands for Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points. The purpose of this method is to minimise the risk of quality defects occurring during the production process. HACCP is a standardised working method that describes how to identify, assess, and control potential hazards in food production. The method was developed with the goal of ensuring that food and products are always completely safe for the consumer.
