Sunshine in a jar
Most people in the Nordic countries get too little vitamin D during the winter months, because it is formed in the skin when we are exposed to the sun’s rays. Vitamin D contributes, among other things, to maintaining normal bones and muscle function, as well as to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin D3 from Great Earth is vegan and extracted from algae. Psst.. The product is also registered with The Vegan Society!
We recommend complementing vitamin D with magnesium and vitamin K2. The reason is that all minerals and vitamins interact and can be antagonists or synergists to one another. K2 and magnesium are synergists, meaning they help each other in their work. K2 helps prevent calcium from being stored in soft tissue such as the walls of blood vessels and is needed to store calcium in the skeleton. Magnesium is needed to activate vitamin D, which means you may find it difficult to increase your blood levels despite taking vitamin D if your magnesium levels are too low. To optimise your intake, you can therefore add magnesium and K2.Contents per capsule % of NRV Vitamin D3 (3000 IE) 75 μg 1500 * Daily Reference Value (NRV) not established. - - Standard delivery time is 3–8 working days from when we have confirmed your order by email.
